    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

We were treated very well and Carlos made sure we were comfortable with the whole process. We made last minute changes and without too much detailed explanation, Carlos was spot on with the design of our tattoos. He is very experienced and professional. He engaged us with wonderful conversation and made us feel at home. He is a good soul and extremely talented! Being a good artist isn't just about skills.. its also about how you make your customers feel. We enjoyed every moment. He truly made our mother-daughter experience special. We are very honored to have been tattooed by him. We absolutely love our matching tattoos! His placement of the tattoos is amazing. We asked for a whimsical flow and he nailed it!! I had a wonderful experience with Daniel today at black rose tattoo too and he did a great job (Jan 3, 2019)..update (Jan 30, 2019)...Daniel's tattoo turned out great on the side that he ended. Healing on the side he started was difficult because he was heavy handed at first and so scabbing and scarring on the beginning side is substantial. It's been over 3 weeks and it's still a raised scab and the sharp outer lines didn't take and are blurred. He really dug in at the start. The wounds during the healing process were deep on that side. I am still hoping it will heal properly. I KNOW I followed aftercare to a T A&D ointment religiously for the first 10 days, then switched to vitamin E oil after scabbing was solid) and I did NOT scratch it. This tatt has been extremely well cared for. It still requires Aveeno lotion several times a day. So I'm playing the waiting game before I decide to address it with him. It may still heal just fine, but I just hope it doesn't stay as is after 20-30 days since I got it. The side he ended on is perfect and beautiful. So I don't want to knock him until I've given it enough time to heal completely. I'm just worried about the starting lines and a couple in the middle on that starting side. Daniel, if you do read this, start as light handed as you ended it. I can see where you relaxed and got comfortable, and when you finally did, you did wonderful. Consistency is key.

Called him repeatedly over the next few months, and he kept making excuses about why he hadn't done any work yet. Eventually I gave up and went somewhere else. So, yeah. If you want people to steal your money and never do any work, this is the shop for you!

I had a wonderful experience with Daniel today at black rose tattoo too and he did a great job (Jan 3, 2019)..update (Jan 30, 2019)...Daniel's tattoo turned out great on the side that he ended. Healing on the side he started was difficult because he was heavy handed at first and so scabbing and scarring on the beginning side is substantial. It's been over 3 weeks and it's still a raised scab and the sharp outer lines didn't take and are blurred. He really dug in at the start. The wounds during the healing process were deep on that side. I am still hoping it will heal properly. I KNOW I followed aftercare to a T A&D ointment religiously for the first 10 days, then switched to vitamin E oil after scabbing was solid) and I did NOT scratch it. Daniel, if you do read this, start as light handed as you ended it. I can see where you relaxed and got comfortable, and when you finally did, you did wonderful. Consistency is key.

I had a wonderful experience with Daniel today at black rose tattoo too and he did a great job (Jan 3, 2019)..update (Jan 30, 2019)...Daniel's tattoo turned out great on the side that he ended. Healing on the side he started was difficult because he was heavy handed at first and so scabbing and scarring on the beginning side is substantial. It's been over 3 weeks and it's still a raised scab and the sharp outer lines didn't take and are blurred. He really dug in at the start. The wounds during the healing process were deep on that side. I am still hoping it will heal properly. I KNOW I followed aftercare to a T A&D ointment religiously for the first 10 days, then switched to vitamin E oil after scabbing was solid) and I did NOT scratch it. This tatt has been extremely well cared for. It still requires Aveeno lotion several times a day. So I'm playing the waiting game before I decide to address it with him. It may still heal just fine, but I just hope it doesn't stay as is after 20-30 days since I got it. The side he ended on is perfect and beautiful. So I don't want to knock him until I've given it enough time to heal completely. I'm just worried about the starting lines and a couple in the middle on that starting side. Daniel, if you do read this, start as light handed as you ended it. I can see where you relaxed and got comfortable, and when you finally did, you did wonderful. Consistency is key.

I got two tattoos today. This is my first time getting tattoo. Carlos was really knowledgeable and did a great job. He was doing very good job with cleanliness. Shop was very clean and well maintained as well. Very reasonable prices as well. I would recommend everyone this place.

My sister got a tattoo done by Daniel and it turned out awful. I don’t know if he was just being lazy or what that day but it was lousy work. He charged her $200 for the tattoo and it just blew my mind. I honestly feel bad for her. Do not recommend going here. So many other shops that have better tattoo artists who can do better work.

Yesterday my daughter and I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Carlos. This was our first time going into Black Rose. We were treated very well and Carlos made sure we were comfortable with the whole process. We made last minute changes and without too much detailed explanation, Carlos was spot on with the design of our tattoos. He is very experienced and professional. He engaged us with wonderful conversation and made us feel at home. He is a good soul and extremely talented! Being a good artist isn't just about skills.. its also about how you make your customers feel. We enjoyed every moment. He truly made our mother-daughter experience special. We are very honored to have been tattooed by him. We absolutely love our matching tattoos! His placement of the tattoos is amazing. We asked for a whimsical flow and he nailed it!! He is a true artist!! Thank you Carlos for everything! We are addicted and will be back for sure!!!!!
