  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

I've had 2 tattoos done by Becka, both were quick, healed great and still look fresh a year+ later. She also communicates when a certain color or line might hurt which is so nice. Becka and Feliz are amazing! The shop is clean and organized and has a very relaxed vibe. Highly recommend to all my family and friends as well as people passing through. Given it be a first tattoo or your 40th this shop will leave you speechless everytime. Between the manners, the great music, the laughing and one on one connection, the clean environment and detailed work I have never been more satisfied. I've been to a lot of shops and none that never actually make you feel like home up until walking into modern craft ❤️ they will never leave you disappointed and are out to make your experience the best. Pricing is amazing and you get so much more then you pay for and the work is so clean. They put their heart and soul into each piece and truly connect with their clients on a one on one as well as professional level. If you are ever passing through or a local this is the place to stop for a minute to just say hi or for a couple hours to make your reality a dream come true. I have two tattoos from Feliz and they are both by far my favorite pieces. Becka and Feliz are both amazing women and in my opinion the most talented tattoo artist in northern Arizona. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless. They were very professional and take great pride in doing things the right way, going above and beyond to make me you feel well taken care of and comfortable throughout the entire process. I won't go to any other tattoo shop in Arizona. Thank you guys!
