  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. Do not recommend Dark Heart for piercings. Had a nostril and a helix (cartilage of ear) done there. Piercer was friendly but did not seem confident. He fumbled with the jewelry while getting ready and his hands were visibly trembling. His hands continued to tremble while doing both piercings and he struggled to insert the jewelry after removing the needle, causing both piercings to bleed. He also selected the wrong size needle for the ear and had to pierce it again with a larger needle in order to accommodate the earring I'd selected. The jewelry selection was a bit limited and I struggled to find something in my style--subtle, simple, and plain. Lots of things that were more flashy (spikes, big sizes, gems, bright neon colors etc). The whole process of two piercings took over an hour. I talked with trusted friends with piercings who said I should have been in and out in 20-30 minutes, maximum. Piercer showed us some of the tattoos he had done while we were checking out and they looked good, but he seems to lack the dexterity and confidence to be doing piercings. Go elsewhere for piercings. Update: bought a gold colored nose ring from them, within 10 days the coloring had completely worn off, it's silver now.

After looking at it more and having other professionals look as well. I realized how bad of a job was done. You tried to accommodate me!! Hahah not even close. Paying more to fix that horrible compass and scribbles as a forest. No thanks I posted a picture of how it should have been done. 2nd street fixed it. Maybe it should have been done right the first time and you should have someone on cancer medication tattooing someone. Also it cost me less to have it done right than it did to get that mess the first time. Also before the tap out sessions your guys tried to charge more than 850. Johnny was cool enough to lower it lol at least. You guys first wanted $1000. Then he said a tap out session and as 850. Honestly Johnny was good. Everyone else there and the shop. Avoid. I’ll be writing more reviews in other places. While talking to one of your managers about it she also stood up rudely from the conversation and walked away before I was done talking to her.

That brought my daughters anxiety down right away. When it came time to pierce her ears my daughter got anxious again. Pam gave her a stuffed bunny with piercings to hold that was super cute. She fully explained everything, let her asked questions, and made sure she was ok before she pierced her first ear. When that first ear was pierced my daughter was so calm. The studio is a clean and comfortable atmosphere for kids. My daughter got to pick out 2 pairs of earrings with silicone backs so they are flexible and more comfortable to sleep in.

The piercer was amazing. I went in after calling her about my belly button being infected bc I'm allergic to fake metal and I let my cousin use a safety pin. She checked it,removed the metal and cleaned it for free.

Overall Hank was friendly but I am not satisfied with the work he did. First i will say that when he used the razor to shave the skin he would be tattooing, a long body hair that wasn't mine came off the razor onto my skin, so it was a USED razor. I am quiet and reserved so i didnt mention it but i definitely should have. I regret not just walking out at that point. So disgusting and unsanitary. It's only been 7 days and the tattoo already looks horrible. It's a small tattoo that would have maybe cost 100$ somewhere else. He charged $235 and definitely not worth it at all. The lines are shaky and not solid, the font is really badly done too. The stencil looked decent but on the skin its not good at all. I wish i could post a picture but theres no option to do so... and you can definitely see the tattoo that was suppose to be covered up. I'm going to have to go to another shop to fix this and spend even more money. Sorry for leaving a bad review I just want people to be aware. Do not go here for quality and sanitary work. Not from Hank anyway. Not sure about the other artists. I could have done this tattoo myself better than he did.

That brought my daughters anxiety down right away. When it came time to pierce her ears my daughter got anxious again. Pam gave her a stuffed bunny with piercings to hold that was super cute. She fully explained everything, let her asked questions, and made sure she was ok before she pierced her first ear. When that first ear was pierced my daughter was so calm. The studio is a clean and comfortable atmosphere for kids. My daughter got to pick out 2 pairs of earrings with silicone backs so they are flexible and more comfortable to sleep in.

The piercer was amazing. I went in after calling her about my belly button being infected bc I'm allergic to fake metal and I let my cousin use a safety pin. She checked it,removed the metal and cleaned it for free.

Overall Hank was friendly but I am not satisfied with the work he did. First i will say that when he used the razor to shave the skin he would be tattooing, a long body hair that wasn't mine came off the razor onto my skin, so it was a USED razor. I am quiet and reserved so i didnt mention it but i definitely should have. I regret not just walking out at that point. So disgusting and unsanitary. It's only been 7 days and the tattoo already looks horrible. It's a small tattoo that would have maybe cost 100$ somewhere else. He charged $235 and definitely not worth it at all. The lines are shaky and not solid, the font is really badly done too. The stencil looked decent but on the skin its not good at all. I wish i could post a picture but theres no option to do so... and you can definitely see the tattoo that was suppose to be covered up. I'm going to have to go to another shop to fix this and spend even more money. Sorry for leaving a bad review I just want people to be aware. Do not go here for quality and sanitary work. Not from Hank anyway. Not sure about the other artists. I could have done this tattoo myself better than he did.

Do not recommend Dark Heart for piercings. Had a nostril and a helix (cartilage of ear) done there. Piercer was friendly but did not seem confident. He fumbled with the jewelry while getting ready and his hands were visibly trembling. His hands continued to tremble while doing both piercings and he struggled to insert the jewelry after removing the needle, causing both piercings to bleed. He also selected the wrong size needle for the ear and had to pierce it again with a larger needle in order to accommodate the earring I'd selected. The jewelry selection was a bit limited and I struggled to find something in my style--subtle, simple, and plain. Lots of things that were more flashy (spikes, big sizes, gems, bright neon colors etc). The whole process of two piercings took over an hour. I talked with trusted friends with piercings who said I should have been in and out in 20-30 minutes, maximum. Piercer showed us some of the tattoos he had done while we were checking out and they looked good, but he seems to lack the dexterity and confidence to be doing piercings. Go elsewhere for piercings. Update: bought a gold colored nose ring from them, within 10 days the coloring had completely worn off, it's silver now.

After looking at it more and having other professionals look as well. I realized how bad of a job was done. You tried to accommodate me!! Hahah not even close. Paying more to fix that horrible compass and scribbles as a forest. No thanks I posted a picture of how it should have been done. 2nd street fixed it. Maybe it should have been done right the first time and you should have someone on cancer medication tattooing someone. Also it cost me less to have it done right than it did to get that mess the first time. Also before the tap out sessions your guys tried to charge more than 850. Johnny was cool enough to lower it lol at least. You guys first wanted $1000. Then he said a tap out session and as 850. Honestly Johnny was good. Everyone else there and the shop. Avoid. I’ll be writing more reviews in other places. While talking to one of your managers about it she also stood up rudely from the conversation and walked away before I was done talking to her.

I was visiting the Prescott area from upstate NY wanting to find a place to help me replace my nose piercing. After googling many tattoos/piercing places, I found Dark Heart Tattoo Shop. I was super impressed at how gorgeous the shop was, not your stereotypical tattoo shop. We were pleasantly greeted by a woman with a British accent who got me right in with one of the piercers (didn’t catch his name - tattoos on his face, with lip piercing). They were GREAT!!!! They invited us to sit, have a glass of water and look through their extremely talented tattoo artwork books. We will definitely be back when we’re ready for some more ink!!
