Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. My younger sister wanted a tattoo to memorialize our late grandfather and we had called around to multiple shops that didn't exactly have what we were looking for. We walked into Bold as Love and were greeted by Ricky who was so accommodating and friendly and then referred us to Joshua who was thorough, professional, and patient while doing her tattoo. Our tattoos came out absolutely stunning. If I didn’t live in another state Ricky would be my only artist. I’m severely tempted to just vacation here just for my future artwork. Got a little new piece from Ricky yesterday and he went above and beyond what I wanted and the experience was amazing!!! The shop itself is very clean. Ricky took his time with my little piece, he made sure the size and shape and position were absolutely perfect, his attention to detail is absolutely incredible, and when I was done he cleaned it up and he gave me instructions to take care of it. I am extremely impressed and I will definitely go back. I 1,000% recommend him, I have absolutely zero complaints!

Ricky was awesome! I have fibromyalgia and a nerve problem and was super nervous about getting my first tattoo but Ricky was kind and knowledgeable about his craft and he talked me through the whole process. I was able to relax, throw some headphones on and just let the man create some amazing art. Would definitely recommend, I totally plan on going back for another one day.

Absolutely loved this place! Ricky was amazing! Super kind, welcoming, and very conversational. I myself got 2 tattoos, and my mom got 1. The area was kept clean, and he cleaned and sanitized between each tattoo. Both my tattoos and my mom's came out absolutely amazing! I would definitely go back!

I had a fantastic experience at the Bold as Love Tattoo shop in Prescott, AZ – the location and layout are great, it’s found on Miller Valley Rd and has a thoughtfully designed space with beautiful art and imagery throughout.
