    As long as you go to a reputable artist who takes all the recommended precautions, getting a tattoo is perfectly safe. Make sure you are completely honest about any illnesses.

  • Does It Hurt?

    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • What Is the Best Time of Year to Get a Tattoo?

    While you can get a tattoo at any time of the year, your skin is much more exposed in the summer due to swimming, sunbathing, and just more exposure to the elements. Winter time is really the best time for a tattoo.

  • Is It OK to Get a Tattoo if Im Sick?

    Getting a tattoo when your immune system isnt at 100% isnt the best idea. Youll need your strength and white blood cells to heal the tattoo, and your body wont be able to do that if its already fighting viruses and bacteria. Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

He communicates while tattooing to ensure you have a pleasurable experience and he is steady and gentle with his tattooing. Excellent job , Kris. First photo is what I asked for second is what I got. 3 photos like the first were provided by me at my consultation to which the artist (Kris) took his own photos of for reference. I again pulled them up at the start of my appointment and again before we started. I kept asking if it was going to be filled in more to make it look better and was told “yes” I assumed what was drawn was a rough template for him to freehand on as I’ve seen previous work and he was capable. The whole appointment took 1 hour from start of signing paperwork to finish. I didn’t bother trying to say anything at the end as it felt the whole time he was just trying to complete the tattoo ASAP. I was charged $300. I emailed the owner and he agreed it was inconsistent for what I asked for and did offer to fix it for me free of charge, however I really don’t have time and just wanted to move on and get it fixed somewhere else eventually so I asked him instead to fix the price and refund me less what he felt the actual tattoo I received was worth ($300 for some lines and roughly drawn leaves in an hour or less is insane) I didn’t get a reply after that.

The entire shop is friendly & I love that they support Military & First responders as well as suicide awareness. I chose Kris Cagle who also chose to do my tattoo request. I have to say I am beyond impressed & thankful in so many ways. He never makes me feel judged or weak (turns out I kind of am) which is really a #1 for me. Moreover, his skill is incredible & when he says he is fast - he really means it. I am only able to tolerate about an hour & he has done at least double if not triple the work in that amount of time. On top of that his artistry & skill are phenomenal. Even further, the man is so incredibly communicative. I mean he answers every email & more. I really never expected to email & "bother" him about so many things but he is so helpful, kind, informative & beyond friendly. I highly recommend the entire establishment but also Kris! Update: I honestly can't add much more to my initial review other than to say I wish I could rate the shop & Kris every time to express my love & gratitude for my experience & delight in my art received. 5 Star 🌟 & Beyond Treatment every time I'm there!!! I had a large tattoo done on my leg/hip and Wookie did an amazing job. He's extremely talented and didn't waste any time getting it done in record time. Highly professional and friendly wirh a gentle hand and made me feel completely comfortable. I love my beautiful tattoo! Highly recommend!

First photo is what I asked for second is what I got. 3 photos like the first were provided by me at my consultation to which the artist (Kris) took his own photos of for reference. I again pulled them up at the start of my appointment and again before we started. I kept asking if it was going to be filled in more to make it look better and was told “yes” I assumed what was drawn was a rough template for him to freehand on as I’ve seen previous work and he was capable. The whole appointment took 1 hour from start of signing paperwork to finish. I didn’t bother trying to say anything at the end as it felt the whole time he was just trying to complete the tattoo ASAP. I was charged $300. I emailed the owner and he agreed it was inconsistent for what I asked for and did offer to fix it for me free of charge, however I really don’t have time and just wanted to move on and get it fixed somewhere else eventually so I asked him instead to fix the price and refund me less what he felt the actual tattoo I received was worth ($300 for some lines and roughly drawn leaves in an hour or less is insane) I didn’t get a reply after that.

The entire shop is friendly & I love that they support Military & First responders as well as suicide awareness. I chose Kris Cagle who also chose to do my tattoo request. I have to say I am beyond impressed & thankful in so many ways. He never makes me feel judged or weak (turns out I kind of am) which is really a #1 for me. Moreover, his skill is incredible & when he says he is fast - he really means it. I am only able to tolerate about an hour & he has done at least double if not triple the work in that amount of time. On top of that his artistry & skill are phenomenal. Even further, the man is so incredibly communicative. I mean he answers every email & more. I really never expected to email & "bother" him about so many things but he is so helpful, kind, informative & beyond friendly. I highly recommend the entire establishment but also Kris! Update: I honestly can't add much more to my initial review other than to say I wish I could rate the shop & Kris every time to express my love & gratitude for my experience & delight in my art received. 5 Star 🌟 & Beyond Treatment every time I'm there!!! It is unbelievable how skilled, quick & amazing Kris is!
