Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • What Is the Best Time of Year to Get a Tattoo?

    While you can get a tattoo at any time of the year, your skin is much more exposed in the summer due to swimming, sunbathing, and just more exposure to the elements. Winter time is really the best time for a tattoo.

  • Is It OK to Get a Tattoo if Im Sick?

    Getting a tattoo when your immune system isnt at 100% isnt the best idea. Youll need your strength and white blood cells to heal the tattoo, and your body wont be able to do that if its already fighting viruses and bacteria. Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

The staff here are all very nice and professional! I did have a scheduled appointment for a piercing, but my wait time was quite long upon my arrival. The prices for a piercing or multiple are very fair, but the jewelry selection could be a lot better and the prices are a bit much for what is offered. Overall, I think the staff are great and make this place worth a visit. My actual piercing experience (Tragus, both sides) was also very great and I felt no sense of rushing which is always a plus!

Don’t offer piercing if you can only do it on “certain days”. Also why offer tattoo and if you can’t “do realistic tattoos. We call you back if the artist wants to do a realistic tattoo?? I mean doesn’t sound like this place wants money.

My cousin and I were visiting here back in August and we decided to get her 2nd set pierced. Dude got defensive when I asked about the autoclave, and we should have walked out. The piercings weren't even, and the piercings never healed. She had to get new jewelry put in her ears because they used the wrong jewelry on her and we're 90% it wasn't the "gold" yall said it was. Protip, if they hide the autoclave in the back, run. Everytime I've gotten a tattoo or piercing my artist have always explained their process and how they are staying clean. This is a joke of a place. Can't believe I let yall go near my little cousin. Clairs could have done a better job.

The studio is very professional and very clean. The staff is most friendly and informative. Their jewelry selection is very nice with a broad range of pricing. Tristan pierced us both. He is very professional. He was very patient with our questions and the piercings were as stress and pain free as possible. We are very happy with our results. My daughter has many friends wanting piercings too and they are all going to come here!

Anyway I wouldn't get a tat 🤪 from someone who doesn't do consultations or show any of they're art. I wanted to look, but was rushed out and given a card to make an appointment. No website to show the art!

I saw Tristan a year ago for my Daith piercing and was so impressed that I came back with a friend and got my Tragus piercing about three months later! Tristan wasn’t available for the second piercing but there was a visiting artist and she was a riot. I won’t go anywhere else and I send all my friends here! Great place. Friendly and caring staff. I had a triple piercing in one ear and single in the other ear by Tristan. He was helpful in picking out a good earing combo. He took great care in spacing and placement. The piercings were fast and painless. I liked the easy online booking for an appointment. It is a good idea to also call and verify they can do what you need due to Covid rules, etc. Ill be back for sure.

My toddler has been asking if she can get bet ears pierced. After researching I found Third Eye Body Art in Mesa. She did NOT get her ears pierced... YET. I was really impressed that they typically don't pierce under the age of 5, because they want to make sure the kid is able to consent to the piercings. That they can follow instructions well and that it is THEIR decision to get them pierced. We took her in for a consultation today and they do a "pretend piercing" with the kid to get a feel for how they'll handle it. The room was super sterilize, resembled a doctors office, and so she wasn't having it. She said, "Um, I don't want to lay on the table," and said she'd wait. The piercer went over exactly what the process is for piercing both ears with kids and Havyn said she was okay and didn't want to. And so he gave me his card and told me he thinks she'll be ready soon, for how well she comprehends and communicates, but just not yet. He explained that he just prefers to wait until they understand it better and are able to comprehend it more and give consent. He doesn't want kids to think they have to have something done to them, that traumatic, against their will. And I know some people wouldn't appreciate that response, but I do. So - we went and got sticker earrings. And she LOVES them. And when she's ready in a few months or a year, I'll bring her back to that piercer and we'll get it done. But for now, stickers it is.

Chloe tattooed me both times and she did a fantastic job. She is very receptive and patient as she helps you to create your ideal design and find the perfect placement. She is very attentive to the wants and needs of her clients and prioritizes cleanliness and safety. She also currently provides free touch-ups as needed. I have nothing but good things to say about Third Eye and about Chloe, and I frequently recommend this shop to friends. By far one of my favorite tattoo shops. All the artist are here super friendly especially Chlöe Schroeder, she has become my favorite tattoo artist there I have gotten 3 pieces done by Her and soon planning on another new one and adding to my torso piece she is super understanding with what I want in my designs and is super accommodating to my schedule even coming in on days the shops closed to tattoo my friends and I. I definitely recommend going here

Went to this place because of its high reviews. Unfortunately, most of the reviews are because of the piercings, NOT the tattoos... I went with a male tattoo artist at this shop, wont specify name. It was my first tattoo and he genuinely seemed like he wanted to work on the piece. We talked about what I wanted, I provided images, and we scheduled appointments. During the stencil, I voiced my concern that the stencil didnt come out so great and that we should redo the side that didnt come out right. He said not to worry about it since he can draw it by hand. No biggie... next session, he inkd the side that came out perfect from the stencil - I was super excited about it! Next few sessions he started to hit the side that didnt quite come out right from the stencil, and thats when everything started going down hill. Quality was completely shot. Objects were smaller, not symmetrical, curves and lines were off.... during each every session I voiced my concern(after some healing time) and every time I did, I got some excuse "You need to trust me", "its only off by 16th of an inch", or "No, its actually not supposed to be symmetrical - look" (shows me a picture of another, but similar artwork that I did NOT provide) i tried my best to work with him but he never listened... Im pissed off because I tipped the guy every time, tusted him, and didnt listen to my gut. Now, I need to pay more money to cover up the piece or get lasered. Its a half sleeve so it wasnt cheap.... im also pissed that even though I explained to him the errors, he persisted in saying they were minor or unnoticeable and never admitted to his mistakes. I get it, no ones perfect. Thats fine... what really annoys the hell out of me was that he never took the time to listen to my concerns or work with me - instead, he persistent in defending his work even though it was completely obvious...

I got my piercings done 6 weeks ago by Tristan, at first I was hesitant because of their prices but he made the whole process very comfortable and my piercings are healing so beautifully, I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get piercings. I'll definitely be back when they are offering septum piercings again.

He is very professional. He was very patient with our questions and the piercings were as stress and pain free as possible. We are very happy with our results. My daughter has many friends wanting piercings too and they are all going to come here!

The piercings weren't even, and the piercings never healed. She had to get new jewelry put in her ears because they used the wrong jewelry on her and we're 90% it wasn't the "gold" yall said it was. Protip, if they hide the autoclave in the back, run. Everytime I've gotten a tattoo or piercing my artist have always explained their process and how they are staying clean. This is a joke of a place. Can't believe I let yall go near my little cousin. Clairs could have done a better job.

Overall, I think the staff are great and make this place worth a visit. My actual piercing experience (Tragus, both sides) was also very great and I felt no sense of rushing which is always a plus!

Scheduled with Rupert for a small tattoo for a friend and I and ended up staying 4 hours because we changed our mind at the last minute and ended up asking for two tattoos each instead of one little one. He was so great, wonderful to talk to, funny, and chill as heck. He did a great job and we love our work. 10/10 would recommend would do again.

Don’t offer piercing if you can only do it on “certain days”. Also why offer tattoo and if you can’t “do realistic tattoos. We call you back if the artist wants to do a realistic tattoo?? I mean doesn’t sound like this place wants money.
