  • Does It Hurt?

    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • What Is the Best Time of Year to Get a Tattoo?

    While you can get a tattoo at any time of the year, your skin is much more exposed in the summer due to swimming, sunbathing, and just more exposure to the elements. Winter time is really the best time for a tattoo.

  • Is It OK to Get a Tattoo if Im Sick?

    Getting a tattoo when your immune system isnt at 100% isnt the best idea. Youll need your strength and white blood cells to heal the tattoo, and your body wont be able to do that if its already fighting viruses and bacteria. Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

I came into the shop this past Wednesday as I'm looking for a good Neo Traditional artist here in Phoenix. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by a lady that was up front named Courtney. Which within a minute or 2 I knew the shop had a good vibe just by speaking to her. She then introduced me to the tattoo artist that were good at Neo. Was a little lost at first, wondering why I was introduced to everyone of them...BUT once I saw each and everyone of their work. I was blown away to see how everyone of them were dope af! No doubt I'm not going anywhere else but here from now on 🤙

I went to Fifth Finger tattoo salon to have a tattoo redone because the first one that was done years ago was fading out and it was not done at this salon. Hunter did a great job, he was gentle, the tattoo looks fantastic. I will be going back there again, very pleased with this place. The studio is extremely clean so you know that your work is going to be done well. The prices are fantastic, I just can't say anything bad about this place they are great at what they do and they take good care of you.

This review will include two parts since I can't do 2 reviews. 1 for the studio and 1 for my artist. First, this studio is professional. For those of you that have had ink done on the west side within the last 20 years, there is NO douchebaggery going on here. The climate is SUPER welcoming, friendly, and professional. It feels more like an art studio than a chop shop. Just my personal opinion. Though I have only used one artist here, ALL of them are obviously talented and professional artists. Again- it's the whole vibe that the shop gives off. Super considerate and customer focused. Especially the manager ladies- shout out to them for leading such an atmosphere. Second, my artist, Hunter Curtis @inkbyhunter, look him up on instagram. He's amazing. I have over 30 hours of work done all over- foot to neck and in between by three different artists over the last 20 years. I have NEVER recommended an artist before. How does he take what is in my brain, and put it on paper?!? He's phenomenal; very considerate, great listener, great artist, and also caring! He cares about his work and clearly takes pride in it. Also, he's got a great personality and I don't mind nerding out with him on various topics throughout my sessions. The tattoos I've had done by Hunter are so clear and detailed. He does these crazy shading techniques (like from art class) but ON SKIN! It's nuts. If you want a great tattoo, Hunter is your guy. Check him out on instagram @inkbyhunter

I got my tattoo with Dr. Daze, I love my tattoo so much! I felt so comfortable the whole time. Not only is he super chill but everyone in the shop is so friendly and cool. I love the energy there. Definitely my go to from now on. Daze is my guy but I would honestly love going with any artist there. They all know what they're doing and they make sure you're good constantly checking on you. I wish I came sooner!

My husband and I went to get his tattoo here, the artist did an amazing job. However some of the staff is unprofessional. I see the Manager of this company posting things about others and putting people on blast instead of handling things more professional. As a manager who represents this company and is non stop promoting this company you should no better. I see her flirting and hanging on men at the shop (including married men.) Some of the staff is rude and not very welcoming. We heard great things about the place and we just had the worst experience. Like I said the artist was amazing and we love his work, but the environment isn’t good. We will sadly be going somewhere else. The photo is how unprofessional she is.

Incredible tattoo and piercing shop located upstairs inside the Harley Davidson. The staff is really wonderful and always make me feel so welcome. Courtney is so sweet and I have been coming to see Oreo their guest piercer and am always so happy with how much attention to detail and time he takes making sure my piercings are perfect. They use no pull shields to prevent any bumps during the healing process and I highly recommend coming here for all of your piercing needs. They have a beautiful assortment of jewelry to choose from also.

Scheduled a piercing appointment at Fifth Finger. They were quick to respond and super helpful. They have a guest piercer who comes out there on occasion. It was definitely worth the wait! I went there to get my nipples pierced and Carlos was super professional. Phenomenal piercer - made me feel super comfortable and the piercing part went quickly. I was nervous for it to be extremely painful.. the fact that the pain was minimal goes to show that you have a great piercer on your hands. I plan to return for a tattoo in the future!

I'll admit to my absolute bias as Tony was my artist at the other studio I frequent before he came to this studio. However, his work speaks for itself and I still love everything I have by him. The last time I was in he did my Space Invaders tattoo. The shop itself is a bit of a pain to find, but I'm directionally challenged. It's nice, clean, and open air; which is really cool. Everyone, from the other artists to the receptionist, are super kind. I can't wait to come back. :-)

Hunter did a great job, he was gentle, the tattoo looks fantastic. I will be going back there again, very pleased with this place. The studio is extremely clean so you know that your work is going to be done well. The prices are fantastic, I just can't say anything bad about this place they are great at what they do and they take good care of you.

This review will include two parts since I can't do 2 reviews. 1 for the studio and 1 for my artist. First, this studio is professional. For those of you that have had ink done on the west side within the last 20 years, there is NO douchebaggery going on here. The climate is SUPER welcoming, friendly, and professional. It feels more like an art studio than a chop shop. Just my personal opinion. Though I have only used one artist here, ALL of them are obviously talented and professional artists. Again- it's the whole vibe that the shop gives off. Super considerate and customer focused. Especially the manager ladies- shout out to them for leading such an atmosphere. Second, my artist, Hunter Curtis @inkbyhunter, look him up on instagram. He's amazing. I have over 30 hours of work done all over- foot to neck and in between by three different artists over the last 20 years. I have NEVER recommended an artist before. How does he take what is in my brain, and put it on paper?!? He's phenomenal; very considerate, great listener, great artist, and also caring! He cares about his work and clearly takes pride in it. Also, he's got a great personality and I don't mind nerding out with him on various topics throughout my sessions. The tattoos I've had done by Hunter are so clear and detailed. I got my tattoo with Dr. Daze, I love my tattoo so much! I felt so comfortable the whole time. Not only is he super chill but everyone in the shop is so friendly and cool. I love the energy there. Definitely my go to from now on. Daze is my guy but I would honestly love going with any artist there. They all know what they're doing and they make sure you're good constantly checking on you. I wish I came sooner!

My husband and I went to get his tattoo here, the artist did an amazing job. However some of the staff is unprofessional. I see the Manager of this company posting things about others and putting people on blast instead of handling things more professional. As a manager who represents this company and is non stop promoting this company you should no better. I see her flirting and hanging on men at the shop (including married men.) Some of the staff is rude and not very welcoming. We heard great things about the place and we just had the worst experience. Like I said the artist was amazing and we love his work, but the environment isn’t good. We will sadly be going somewhere else. The photo is how unprofessional she is.

I will only go to the Artists at Fifith Finger.. The entire place is Amazing. The staff and artists are friendly and pleasant, the shop is always clean and an overall amazing environment to be in.. Love it!!
