But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

I’ve been a customer of woody’s for the past 9-8 years. With a number of tattoos done by Woody; over 10 I’ve come to realize as I try to count, one tattoo by Blue Benson, and five piercings by Dan Duke. This shop has been nothing but welcoming to me and my partner in every occasion, professional in every sense of the word with a friendliness that makes you want to come back. A very clean shop with a great neighborhood atmosphere. The work that Woody has done for me has all been as painless as possible and retains much of its beauty as time goes by, I’ve only really gone in for one touch up for everything he’s done, his line work is really to be admired. I can safely say the same about Blue Benson as well, though his hand is a bit more firm. Dan’s piercing skill is hard to rival, he always applies the right amount of pressure and he provides ample amount of aftercare for little to no charge. Last but not least, I must say one of the things I’ve admired most about this shop is it’s ability to give back to the community with its food raising campaigns for local animal shelters and even it’s giving deals to NAU students for good grades. Leaving you feeling that when you support Woody’s you really help support the locals and the community of flagstaff.

Don’t use Brandon. Stay clear! He’ll sell you perfection but you’ll get anything but that. Had appointment at noon. Waited until 1:20. He took 2 walk ins before me n my girl. He bruised my girlfriend bad and the tattoo he did was sub par and blew out as did mine. No shading to differentiate the flowers. I explained how nervous I was and he still messed it up. See pics. Doesn’t look like like the stencil. The shading was supposed to be like my fingers its is completely different. The A is just floating out there. There’s also ink blowout between the letters. I’m so mad. He just rushed through it to get me out of there. Takes no pride in his work. Doesn’t care about the customers needs. Now I have to pay someone to try and fix it.

I got my first facial piercing from Dan less than a week ago and I can't imagine having anyone else do the job for me. Dan's SUPER CHILL and very informative and most importantly, easily accessible. He replied to my text inquiries quickly and got me taken care of in the blink of an eye. Should I ever consider more piercings? Dan is who I'll go to and would highly recommend.

Dan is the kindest person! He pierced my 2nd and 3rd piercings in my earlobes and also my right nostril. He also let me come in quite a few times to help get my right nostril hoop just the way I wanted it (because my nose likes to swell bigger than the tiny hoop I wanted) and made sure it was symmetrical to my left nostril hoop for that hoop, septum, hoop look. He’s truly so great and was always quick to text back about questions! :) Thanks for everything Dan! :)

He got me right in and was able to get everything straightened out and put back in place. He's always so friendly, professional, the place is clean and everybody is really cool. He bruised my girlfriend bad and the tattoo he did was sub par and blew out as did mine. No shading to differentiate the flowers. I explained how nervous I was and he still messed it up. See pics. Doesn’t look like like the stencil. The shading was supposed to be like my fingers its is completely different. The A is just floating out there. There’s also ink blowout between the letters. I’m so mad. He just rushed through it to get me out of there. Takes no pride in his work. Doesn’t care about the customers needs. Now I have to pay someone to try and fix it.

I got my first facial piercing from Dan less than a week ago and I can't imagine having anyone else do the job for me. Dan's SUPER CHILL and very informative and most importantly, easily accessible. He replied to my text inquiries quickly and got me taken care of in the blink of an eye. Should I ever consider more piercings? Dan is who I'll go to and would highly recommend.

Dan is the kindest person! He pierced my 2nd and 3rd piercings in my earlobes and also my right nostril. He also let me come in quite a few times to help get my right nostril hoop just the way I wanted it (because my nose likes to swell bigger than the tiny hoop I wanted) and made sure it was symmetrical to my left nostril hoop for that hoop, septum, hoop look. He’s truly so great and was always quick to text back about questions! :) Thanks for everything Dan! :)

This was my son’s first piercing, an industrial and he was a little nervous but Dan put him at ease. We are both so happy with our piercings and will be going back for more soon.

I went to ER about a week ago. They had to do MRI and CT scans. They had to hurriedly remove all my piercing jewelery. And alot got bent. He got me right in and was able to get everything straightened out and put back in place. He's always so friendly, professional, the place is clean and everybody is really cool. I’ve been a customer of woody’s for the past 9-8 years. With a number of tattoos done by Woody; over 10 I’ve come to realize as I try to count, one tattoo by Blue Benson, and five piercings by Dan Duke. This shop has been nothing but welcoming to me and my partner in every occasion, professional in every sense of the word with a friendliness that makes you want to come back. A very clean shop with a great neighborhood atmosphere. The work that Woody has done for me has all been as painless as possible and retains much of its beauty as time goes by, I’ve only really gone in for one touch up for everything he’s done, his line work is really to be admired. I can safely say the same about Blue Benson as well, though his hand is a bit more firm. Dan’s piercing skill is hard to rival, he always applies the right amount of pressure and he provides ample amount of aftercare for little to no charge. Last but not least, I must say one of the things I’ve admired most about this shop is it’s ability to give back to the community with its food raising campaigns for local animal shelters and even it’s giving deals to NAU students for good grades. Leaving you feeling that when you support Woody’s you really help support the locals and the community of flagstaff.
