    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

Finally he just quit talking to me all together. He’s blocked me on social media and hasn’t answered my texts in over a month. Here it is September 6, 2021 and he still hasn’t given me a refund or in no way, tried to make this right. He is very unprofessional and untrustworthy and his shop isn’t BBB accredited either. Do not use this shop. Go elsewhere, it’s not worth your time. Update: 10/28/2021 —- Shawn Higgins still has made no attempt to refund the payment that he stole from me. He is a con man. Not returning my texts yet again.

I went with my best friend to get a tattoo. Shawn did both of our tattoos and did an excellent job. This was my first tattoo and it was nice that he made sure I was comfortable. It was clean and relaxing and the pricing was amazing. I would definitely go back.

Great artist, but unfortunately like many others on here I paid up front got canceled on and it's been months since I have heard from him requested a refund through cashapp and that didn't work. I loved my other tattoo he did so I wanted to go back. Maybe I can get that refund now?

Shawn and Allen are great! There was a hiccup in our scheduling but they took the time to make it right! Allen did mine and it was a very special tattoo in memory of my husband who tragically passed in a car accident a month ago. He was so personable and gave me exactly what I wanted! I will always get any more ink that I want from them!! So go check them out!!

I have been following Shawn for a long time. I absolutely love his work. I was finally able to get some more Ink and I am starting my sleeve, he has done a phenomenal job so far. I am very, very picky about my tattoo artists. His lines are clean, shading is awesome and prices are so reasonable. If you are looking for good quality work for great prices, I would and do recommend going to Sknkandi and have Shawn Higgins fix you up. I promise you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to see my sleeve finished.

I had seen a Fathers Day sale Mr Higgins had going for his shop and being that I was in the market for some new tattoos, I bought and paid for 4 of the sale promotions which came out to $300.00 on May 27, 2021. Mr Higgins asked for me to pay via either Facebook pay or cash app so I paid through cash app. Ever since I paid him the $300, it’s been excuse after excuse as to why he couldn’t do the tattoos. Finally he just quit talking to me all together. He’s blocked me on social media and hasn’t answered my texts in over a month. Here it is September 6, 2021 and he still hasn’t given me a refund or in no way, tried to make this right. He is very unprofessional and untrustworthy and his shop isn’t BBB accredited either. Do not use this shop. Go elsewhere, it’s not worth your time. Update: 10/28/2021 —- Shawn Higgins still has made no attempt to refund the payment that he stole from me. He is a con man. Not returning my texts yet again.

Shawn did a great job. Love what he did for me and my 2 girls. I was a little nervous as this was my first tatoo . He made me feel relaxed and very comfortable. You can tell he loves his craft and is very good at what he does. Would recommend highly.
