    As long as you go to a reputable artist who takes all the recommended precautions, getting a tattoo is perfectly safe. Make sure you are completely honest about any illnesses.

  • Does It Hurt?

    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

    Getting a tattoo when your immune system isnt at 100% isnt the best idea. Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

This review has weighed heavily on my mind. I came in on Tuesday, to speak to someone about my first tattoo. One which I'd hoped to schedule for myself, as well as my sister for her upcoming visit. While I've heard many great things about the artist at this shop, his behavior definitely made my decision to go elsewhere very easy to make. I was speaking to the lady who was at the front when I walked in. She was attending to other customers who were filling out some sort of paperwork , while also attending to me. She was so very kind , informative and she really did make me want to have my tattoo done there. However , the gentleman came gave her a paper of a drawing , which I gathered was for the customer filling the paperwork out. She asked him to please look at my idea I had chosen for my sister and myself, to which he replied, " It's going to be awhile.". The artist told the lady to fix the drawing, and get it ready for him. He then turned and went in his room, leaving her to handle the drawing , the customers paperwork , and left her to speak with me. He never offered her help. He never asked me about about my tattoo idea. He was very rude to not only me , but the lady working there. I kindly said I'd think about it , and return later. I will not be returning. I'm unsure if he is the owner , and if he isn't, if the owner is aware of how poorly he treats customers and his co-worker. I'm not sure how she endures that daily. If I could leave a five star review for the lady at the front , I absolutely would. She apologized, even though she wasn't at fault for his behavior. To the upside, the place was very clean , and seemed to be organized as well. Unfortunately , I can't in good conscious support him because of his behavior that day.

I got my septum done here and the staff was very nice. My wife got her industrial done here K.o. did both piercings. He did a fantastic job with both. He is skilled and I recommend the very affordable piercings .. I have not received any tattoos here though. I know that he has a great reputation.

Maybe I have weird anatomy, but my septum was pierced too low, and a medusa that I wanted ended up being a jestrum because of the angle it was pierced at. I could literally see the flat back of the post with my mouth closed. He didn’t hold himself accountable and told me it would even out once it healed and the swelling went down. That didn’t happen. When I got my septum pierced, I was scared it would be crooked, I asked if he could do his best to make sure it was as straight as possible because of what happened with my Medusa. Kao literally said “well your nose isn’t symmetrical anyway” which I’d never noticed so it was nice to be given a new insecurity lmao. The only redeeming factor is that the staff at the desk was nice, I guess, and it seemed pretty clean and sanitary.

Got my Industrial done today, and despite my nervousness, I enjoyed the experience. The lady at the counter was nice, and the piercer (Kao?) Did his job well. I would have liked to have heard more aftercare information, but I understand he may have been busy. All in all, great store, great service.

Kao and Jeff are the best. Kao was been doing the tattoos I get about my grandchildren for 8 years. Jeff has done several different tattoos for me as well. It's like catching up with old friends each time I go. They are great guys. It's a very clean shop. The young lady at the front was friendly and knows what she's doing. I won't go anywhere else.

Kao did my sister and my nose piercing and when I asked to let me see where he was piercing it, he said he knew where to pierce it he had been doing it for 15 years ... well he didn't pierce it in the crease where I wanted it and then didn't say thank you have a nice day or anything. I had to wait for him and the woman working to get done talking to ask a question about aftercare for my piercing. Will not go back and do not recommend going here.

If Kao isn't your go to man for a great and affordable tattoo or piercing MAKE HIM. Very nice and professional, Bri is awesome too! They definitely deserve more than a 5 star rating. A place you will not regret!!!!!

Maybe I have weird anatomy, but my septum was pierced too low, and a medusa that I wanted ended up being a jestrum because of the angle it was pierced at. I could literally see the flat back of the post with my mouth closed. He didn’t hold himself accountable and told me it would even out once it healed and the swelling went down. That didn’t happen. When I got my septum pierced, I was scared it would be crooked, I asked if he could do his best to make sure it was as straight as possible because of what happened with my Medusa. Kao literally said “well your nose isn’t symmetrical anyway” which I’d never noticed so it was nice to be given a new insecurity lmao. The only redeeming factor is that the staff at the desk was nice, I guess, and it seemed pretty clean and sanitary.

Got my Industrial done today, and despite my nervousness, I enjoyed the experience. The lady at the counter was nice, and the piercer (Kao?) Did his job well. I would have liked to have heard more aftercare information, but I understand he may have been busy. All in all, great store, great service.

Ko was great. He did a difficult piercing with skill and precision. Five stars on all accounts when it comes to him. The woman who was training to pierce was incredibly rude, however.

This review has weighed heavily on my mind. I came in on Tuesday, to speak to someone about my first tattoo. One which I'd hoped to schedule for myself, as well as my sister for her upcoming visit. While I've heard many great things about the artist at this shop, his behavior definitely made my decision to go elsewhere very easy to make. I was speaking to the lady who was at the front when I walked in. She was attending to other customers who were filling out some sort of paperwork , while also attending to me. She was so very kind , informative and she really did make me want to have my tattoo done there. However , the gentleman came gave her a paper of a drawing , which I gathered was for the customer filling the paperwork out. She asked him to please look at my idea I had chosen for my sister and myself, to which he replied, " It's going to be awhile.". The artist told the lady to fix the drawing, and get it ready for him. He then turned and went in his room, leaving her to handle the drawing , the customers paperwork , and left her to speak with me. He never offered her help. He never asked me about about my tattoo idea. He was very rude to not only me , but the lady working there. I kindly said I'd think about it , and return later. I will not be returning. I'm unsure if he is the owner , and if he isn't, if the owner is aware of how poorly he treats customers and his co-worker. I'm not sure how she endures that daily. If I could leave a five star review for the lady at the front , I absolutely would. She apologized, even though she wasn't at fault for his behavior. To the upside, the place was very clean , and seemed to be organized as well. Unfortunately , I can't in good conscious support him because of his behavior that day.

I got my septum done here and the staff was very nice. My wife got her industrial done here K.o. did both piercings. He did a fantastic job with both. He is skilled and I recommend the very affordable piercings .. I have not received any tattoos here though. I know that he has a great reputation.
